LINQ Wheelchairs

Introduction to LINQ-equipped Wheelchairs

LINQ-equipped wheelchairs were created to address tight manpower supply and aging workforce issues in Singapore. They were designed to reduce the need for multiple personnel to push multiple wheelchairs. The project was developed in collaboration with Nanyang Polytechnic and supported by SPRING Singapore.

LINQ, which stands for "Link and Queue”, is the core robot platform for the wheelchairs. With LINQ attached, up to 3 wheelchairs can travel elegantly in a single file, wirelessly. They automatically follow a human guide who controls the lead wheelchair.

The target markets for LINQ include airports, logistics centers, hospitality and healthcare sectors.
